PRODUCT INFORMATION:
Each of my handmade resin items are made to order using high quality, non-toxic resin. Resin is such a unique and fluid medium, so there may be some slight variations in colour and design. Minor imperfections (such as tiny air bubbles) may occur as resin is so unique and fluid - this is quite natural and is what makes your handcrafted product so special and 'one of a kind'.
TOP TIPS FOR LOOKING AFTER YOUR HANDCRAFTED RESIN ITEMS:
To look after your pieces (made from food safe resin), wash in warm, not hot, soapy water.
Don’t use an abrasive cloth or sponge. Don’t leave to soak. Resin is not dishwasher or microwave safe.
Most resins are heat resistant up to 90 C, very hot cups or mugs may leave an indent on coasters, but sometimes they can easily be fixed by running under hot water for 20 seconds and leaving on a flat surface to dry.
Keep your resin products away from direct sunlight and heat sources, as this can cause the piece to discolour or soften.
It is completely normal for colours to fade and clear resin to ‘yellow’ slightly over time.
Avoid bumping or scratching your resin pieces.
Avoid harsh chemicals such as perfume, hairspray, cleaning products, nail polish remover and hand sanitiser directly on your pieces, as these may damage them.
If your resin piece loses its lustre, you can polish it gently with a food safe oil to bring back the shine.
